Teaching Methods

In the classroom

The large well-ventilated classrooms with numerous windows, fans, and lights ensure physical comfort while learning. All primary classes and Labs are air-conditioned. Keeping in pace with new technology, smart class equipment is provided in all classes. All rooms have a whiteboard and a green board to display and encourage the creative, informative, and academic endeavors of the learners.

A lot of interaction takes place in the classroom through discussions, seminars, presentations and project work. The students are trained to question, analyze, assimilate and apply. Their communication skills are developed through debate, essay and story writing.

Our Montessori room provides specially designed rich learning materials and scope for creative activities. We provide a safe environment in which the child grows and learns in a natural way.

Physical Education

Athletics

Besides sharpening the child’s intellect, we cater the childs’ wholesome development. Sports and games form an integral part of our activities which are compulsory for all medically fit students.

We strongly believe that healthy competitions bring out the best in students. Hence regular interhouse tournaments and athletic meets are held every year to encourage sports.

Indoor and outdoor playpen includes swings, slides, jungle gym, merry-go-round and many other types of equipment. Through the use of appropriate equipment, children develop their coordination skills required to play more organized games when they are older. Sand pit, Water pool, tunnels, puppet shows and intimacy with animals & birds develop confidence among children.

Educational Trips

At times it is highly beneficial for children on educational trips to support the teaching and learning which goes on within the classroom. These first hand practical experiences are an integral part of the curriculum, arranged for each class, as and when required.
